Eggless Dark chocolate mug cake – Dessert for 2!

Yes, dessert for 2 but eaten by 1. I have only one request when I am on my death bed and that is to be able to die eating chocolate and I will consider myself extremely lucky if that does happen!! If you haven’t figured yet, I absolutely adore chocolate and you will always find something made of it at home. This was a quick desert – rich and moist and extremely easy to make.

A long time ago, I went on an impromptu trip to Bangalore to meet a friend who was then working there. We had a great 3 days roaming the city and eating out. What totally stands out from that trip apart from the awesome time we had together was the Death By Chocolate at Corner House!! Chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate mouse – all in one huge tub. And we both finished it!! That was sinful! This desert takes me back to that day and that evening in Bangalore and hence must occupy a very special place in my memory and heart :).

Ingredients –

3 tbsps of Flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp oil

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp  unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

3 tbsp milk

Mix all the ingredients together and microwave on high for about 2 mins. Insert a knife and if it comes out clean, its done. Else, cook for another 30 secs and add another 30 secs if necessary. If while cooking the cake seems to be overflowing, stop the microwave, open door and let the mix go down and microwave again. A large mug will help avoid this.
