Yes, I have finally joined the bandwagon and decided to write about food. After all isnt it the only thing that is so common among people of all cultures? It is one thing that has brought my Indian and non indian friends together. Hence, here’s an ode to food.

Everytime we go back home to India, one place we don’t miss out on is Rajdhani – A restaurant that exclusively serves thali style rajasthani meals. We love the food, the amazing service and the ambiance.
This time, V was a little more than inspired by the food. We went ahead and bought a cookbook by Sanjeev Kapoor about Marwari cooking. Every now and then we try out a recipe from the book. This evening he tried making the aloo ka raswala shaak. A simple easy to make dish that even the little one enjoyed with fresh, warm rotis . You can get the recipe here. And here is a picture.
